Access and Regulation
- Provides a wide range of regulatory compliance and commercial services ensuring operations are conducted in a secure commercial and regulatory environment
- Manages access contracts with multiple rail access providers
- Provides support advice to customers on access
- Ensures future third-party infrastructure meets industry and customer needs
- Ensures compliance with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission undertaking requirements
Operation Services
- Maintains a network of operational sites across Australia to deliver efficient maintenance services
- Provides strategic asset management services
- Manages capital program and strategic procurement
Corporate Development
- Provides strategic advice and investment modelling and analysis
- Undertakes strategic planning, including corporate planning, business units planning, and integration
- Delivers property-based expertise and implementation
Safety
- Ensures Asciano maintains leadership market positions through the delivery of efficient, professional and safe operations and customer service
- Provides accurate, timely service to all Business Divisions in key areas of safety, health, environment, security and training
Human Resources
- Provides management and leadership development across the business
- Ensures employee development, motivation and retention through all business units
- Builds people management practices, tools and systems to ensure a consistent, constructive culture
